always the People’s Square (Narodni Trg Pjaca)

点评：For centuries the Pjaca has been the central stage of the Locals city life. Located close.to the Iron Gate there are the Gothic building of the Old Town Hall ( today an exhibition centre) which was then the seat of the city's authority. Always conscious is the city clock which is unique by his 24 instead of 12 digits. Also notable is the Palaca Cambi, a palace in Venetian Gothic style located on the edge of the square. Of course there are the usual surrounding cafés, restaurants and bars that both the locals & tourists to Split could always find a place to rest, see and be-seen.
More spacious compared to the Old Town the People’s Square features many interesting Renaissance, Venetian, and Gothic buildings built over the centuries. We had some free time during our Split tour and has attached some pics to share with all.
