Boring and uninspiring, disappointing.
MALI - Museo de Arte de Lima的点评
点评：Took my grandson who was visiting from the U.S. It was difficult to find the way in due to the construction going on nearby. The Museum could help patrons by posting signs for access….as a courtesy.
I was disappointed and a little sad that we had gone through so much effort to get in and what we saw was painting after religious painting, then painting after painting of the Peruvian Republican era. Frankly it was boring. Perhaps they should rename the museum, the Museum of Peruvian Art History. My husband and I visited a few years ago and the exhibits appeared to be the exact same. If you have seen it once, no sense going back. We went to see art in general and we were hoping to see some of what we saw, but not just that. Perhaps the curators could consider alternating part of the current collections with other type of art. It was totally uninteresting. There is so much beautiful art in Peru, it is hard to believe that there aren’t other exhibits that could be taken on loan or to promote more current Peruvian painters.

The Palacio de la Exposición is a beautiful building that seems to be used more for events than to present to the public more variety in art.
This Museum needs improvement to be worth another visit.
