A large botanic garden in the jungle!

点评：A very large botanic garden totally surrounded by jungle. So large that you could reasonably drive from area to area.
Many plants to learn about and admire in the many glass houses near top of the hill.
Very good elevated canopy walk through the jungle.
Some walking paths (on the ground) through the jungle. No others walking and not many signs!
Many other areas to see, probably too large to see in 1 day. Would need several visits to appreciate all areas.
At top of the hill there is a small restaurant and snack/drink shop. Small selection of common Thai food available. No other apparent places to eat nearby.
Almost an hour's drive outside Chiang Mai city center. Our driver had never been there before (even though he advertised as taking tourists around Chiang Mai and surrounds). Very few visitors on a weekday. Probably no other way to get there other than by private car?
Plant lovers must visit this hidden treasure!
