Not recommended, a waste of time and money - if you do visit, don't you dare ask to pay by card.....

点评：A rude and obnoxious woman dealt with us upon our arrival yesterday. I wonder if she greeted Helen Skelton and Dan Walker with such disdain? I asked to pay the entry fee and she said it was cash only and shoved a sign under my nose. I said we only had cards and weren't aware of their policy in advance and she looked at us in disgust, muttering that it was on their website. She then miraculously managed to produce a card machine from under the counter - if I hadn't been with my parents, I would have told her where to shove it! Having checked their website on our return home, I can't see any mention of cash only, however, I did see that they offer a discount for seniors which was not given to my parents. Hardraw Force is not that spectacular (although probably not at it's best when we visited) and certainly not worth it for the £4 entry fee or the attitude of the misery guts in the visitor centre.
