点评:This is a privately owned area and we paid £8 (cash is preferred) for 2 adults to enter. Although I feel strongly this should not be a 'charged for' attraction, the money seems to have supported accessibility, toilet facilities and maintenance - it's really not expensive and would be a good place for a picnic in the spring/summer. It was a long time since either my hubby or I had been and we'd forgotten how short the walk was - it really isn't very far from the main entrance. The lower path is flat and relatively easy underfoot for all abilities, pushchairs or wheelchairs/scooters.
We also did the upper walk which is not long or particularly difficult but does include lots of inclines and steps/rocks.
On the day we went the waterfall was almost at peak capacity following heavy rainfall in the hills above - it was good to see it at it's best!
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times - to ensure the safety of the red squirrel population. Unfortunately we didn't see any red squirrels but other walkers had done only minutes earlier as they came towards us.
