点评：Starting in Clapham village and walking through the nature trail (£2.50 towards maintaining the path) past ingleborough cave the path is well maintained, the walk up isn’t for the faint hearted, a steady incline with some climbing is required. Once at the top you’ll come across the gaping hill before heading up to little ingleborough and ingleborough.
For 2 weeks of the year you can descend into the gaping hill these are organised by local pot holing groups (May and august bank holidays only) for £20 which helps towards the clubs they will lower you into the cave. It’s wet, so waterproofs are required, you get a hard hat to wear and can spend however long you want in there. It’s lit up but cold and damp but well worth it.
Once you a send you can continue up to the trig points, the path is well maintained but steep
