点评:Fossilized dinosaur eggs, Gobi desert natural history and geology, Prezwalski’s horses, Bactrian camels and raptors are what you might expect to see in the capital’s Museum of Natural History - it’s all here but the poor curators must have no funding for modern displays. The building itself feels like an old Soviet era mausoleum and badly needs a face lift. Some but not all displays are labeled including some helpful English translation but other interesting items are left to the imagination. I spent nearly two hours here, especially in the natural history taxidermy displays that seemed to represent virtually every major bird and mammalian species and some reptiles; I would have loved to have had more information about this great collection. Very small entry fee (~$5). There was a small gift shop at the entrance.
