点评：I cannot understand how this zoo has passed animal welfare. I walked through the entrance and only got to the leopards before I had to leave due to how disgusting I felt being there. Immediately as you walk in, there’s a crocodile in a MINUSCULE enclosure, monkeys in tiny cages and whilst it was raining they were huddled in the one corner with shelter. It’s revolting, the animals have nowhere to be comfortable and hide, no space to roam properly. The leopards and on a slant and can barely run from one end to the other. I didn't make it past this, the conditions are so poor and depressing. The hippo’s enclosure was so small, and void of any entertainment or anything really- just white slabs and a shallow pool. The sea lions enclosure was even worse, it was so depressing to see and makes me feel sick. It feels like the animals have been placed in poorly designed enclosures- no research into space or what they need. It is so sad, and you can see it within the animals. Compared to other zoos I’ve been, this zoo has left me flummoxed at how it is still open.
