点评:We visited yesterday as my wife had been researching family history and one of her ancestors had been in the watch industry which was a big employer in Coventry. She knew that members of the family had lived in the courts, rows of numerous houses arranged around a court with a shared privy. This museum gives an insight into what life was like in the courts, in the last remaining three cottages. Wartime damage is visible on the wall of the cottage. There’s so much more than just watches and clocks to see. The volunteer staff are kind and helpful and showed us records of the courts on old maps. They are clearly very enthusiastic. I can’t believe that some people refuse to pay the £2 entrance fee to this museum. It’s well worth it in my opinion. We bought some pens and books and postcards too to support the place.
