点评：We recently did a 10-day self-guided tour of Puglia with Apulia Bike Tours. They set up a great customized trip for us. We had a lovely itinerary with great hotels and wonderful towns to visit.
Apulia Bike Tours set us off with an App called "Roadbook for Discovery". The App route was custom designed for our ride. We found the App very problematic. The App routing lost direction, took us down stairs, had us on very rough rocky roads (not reasonable dirt bike ways), on overgrown paths, and paths that required walking (we were not on mountain or E-Bikes). The App did not distinguish between a paved highway or dirt pathway and had no coordinates to right itself when it went off course. This made it difficult to pace the day. To add to our frustration, the App took us to roads that were closed, causing confusion that forced us to abandon the App, move to Google and ride busy highways.
Unfortunately, each day's ride was more frustrating than it should have been. These were short rides (50 - 60 km) that could easily have been tested with the App before sending us out. Had Apulia Bike Tours vetted the rides, the route could have been adjusted as needed and we would have had a much better time. We would suggest a hard copy map of each day so you can move to Google Maps when Roadbook for Discovery fails. All in all, a fun trip with a lot of avoidable problems.
