This place is such a conundrum - but worth going for a drink just to see it!

点评：This is a tale of 2 halves....
We booked a table for lunch on 22nd June, with friends.
The place is undoubtedly unique - a veritable treasure trove of eclectic, fun and also very spooky artifacts; antiques, and plain cooky items crammed into this utterly charming pub.
We were so taken with the place, but then we were quickly served with drinks (unfortunatley 1 of the lagers ordered - bottled - was totally flat, but my friend was loathe to complain, and didn't order another), then our lunch choices were taken. The menu was very basic, but we were aware of this after checking it online, so not an issue.
We continued to enjoy the expereince...however after an hour we still hadn't received our food.
The pub was not busy, but eventually our meals arrived...all very basic, with frozen or instant ingredients which should have been ready in minutes.
We didn't make an issue - the owners are as eclectic as the property, so we ate our food, and left - we went to another pub!
Honestly if you want to experience the crazy uniqueness of the pub you are in for a treat, but, if you are going for good food you will be sorely disappointed.
Having good basic food well cooked is a pleasure, but having food that is ready-made (even the gravy was instant and watery), and still at high end prices, then you'll be sorely disappointed.

说实话，如果你想体验这家酒吧疯狂的独特之处，那你来这里绝对是一种享受；但如果你想吃好吃的，那你肯定会大失所望。
吃到精心烹制的美味主食固然令人愉悦，但如果食物都是现成的（就连肉汁都是速溶的，而且水汪汪的），而且价格还这么贵，那你肯定会大失所望。
