Great park, spoilt by the rain as all the slides were closed after, despite there being over two hours left til closing

点评：Tried to book online but couldn’t find the cart to check out so had to pay on arrival, approx £10 more for a party of four.
Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Park was not busy at all which was great from our point of view as very little queueing if any.
Park was clean.
On the two tone blue slide, ensure your bottoms are not through the float as you will get a scraped bum on the flat parts of the slide!!
In the afternoon there was a huge downpour with thunder and lightening which lasted about 20mins. A lot of people left the park immediately and we found out it was because all the slides were now closed despite there still being three hours left of the park being open and all the surfaces drying out completely. We did feel short changed by this.
This was not communicated to us which is really poor. Fortunately we had already had quite a lot of time on the slides however there were still ones that we wanted to try.
One adult pool did reopen for the remainder of the day.
Please note that the lockers are not waterproof. When we retrieved our clothes to put on as we had gotten cold during the rain that my dry sweater was drenched through. Being waterproof bags to store your belongings in!
