弓湖的点评
点评：Overall, I found Bow Lake well worth a visit.
There are two locations in which one can view Bow Lake. One view was from the pullover on the Icefields Parkway. While good, I found the better views of Bow Lake were from the lakeside. To get to the lakeside, head to the parking lot area with the numerous restrooms that had been built. The lakeside is a short walk from the parking lot and will enable you to walk past the lodges and the Hanging Glacier Cafe.
Parking is bit of an issue near the restrooms but a overflow parking lot is available.
The desirable Bow Lake views are approximately a 5 minute walk from the parking lot. The Cafe sells snacks, coffee or souvenirs if you so desire.
The lakeside view of Bow Lake provided stunning views, especially of the glacier/waterfall that feeds into the lake.
While the parking lot is busy, the atmosphere at the lakeside was enjoyably quiet/not crowded and was almost meditative as it provided the opportunity to absorb the beauty.
If you have the time, I would definitely taking the time to take a lakeside visit to Bow Lake.
