Mon Repos Turtle Encounter的点评
点评：We attended on 23/01/25 with our 3 kids, 10, 8 and 4. This experience was amazing for all of our family members.
We knew that we would get to experience an “event” and that would be either a female laying eggs or hatching emerging. We knew it was one or the other and were ok with this.
We were in group three and happened to be there on a busy night as we were summoned at 7:14pm to attend our event. We had to walk very briskly in the dark to the beach. The 4 yr old was carried.
Once we got to the beach we were extremely privileged to witness about 90 baby turtles emerge from the sand and make their way down to the ocean.
We were able to take minimum photos. And although you can’t touch the turtle they can touch you so got to feel the strength of their flippers.
The staff were fantastic. Clear with expectations and rules but informative with an obvious passion for their work.
If you can take a flash light (not just your phone) and you can help guide the baby turtles down to the ocean.
The cafe was open until 8:30 and the butter chicken filo’s were delicious.
