点评：Yiliang Jiuxiang Scenic Area was an incredible place to visit and well worth the effort to get there.
Tt is around a 4‑hour bus journey, but the experience more than justifies the travel time. However, you do require a greater level of physical fitness.
It took us about 3 hrs to see all the major highlights, including Yincui Gorge, Jinghun Gorge, Majestic Lion Hall, Immortal Cave, Male and Female Waterfalls, Sacred Farmland, Yi Village, the Underground Upside‑Down Stone Forest.
Just be aware that a key part of the experience involves cable car inbound and boat rides going into the scenic area, followed by a chair lift ride on the way out.
The caves and gorges are stunning, but be aware that this site involves a lot of stair climbing. A reasonable level of fitness is needed, especially if you want to explore everything fully. If it is raining, the stairs can become wet and slippery, making it potentially dangerous, so on such days, it is better to come back another time.
For those who are unable to manage the steep stairs, there are carriers available who can transport visitors on a seat carried between two poles. This service comes at an extra cost, but it’s a very good option for anyone with mobility limitations.
