We just partook in wine tasting only
Williamsburg Winery的点评
点评：My Honey and I were staying at a B & B nearby for only a couple days. We have done the walks down DOG and shopping visits on our previous trips, but we have never been to this vineyard. So we made time this stop. We thought this would be a fun activity to participate in while we scoped out the area.
We arrived shortly before they opened and there were a few people waiting with us. We walked into the tasting room which also stored bottles for sale. The other couples were there to buy their favorites, and we were the only ones there at the time for a tasting. Up a couple of stairs to the left was a larger room, which also had a tasting bar area in the back. This room was unoccupied while we were there.
There were between a dozen to maybe eighteen different selections of wine to choose from, with options to how many flights to sample. We both chose a flight of six. They have a Italian Vineyard partner so they offer this partner’s wine in their flight selections, which was interesting. The young woman attending to us was friendly and knowledgeable of their wine. She was attentive to us for most of our time there. We enjoyed our selections but nothing we tasted motivated us to buy any bottles to take home for ourselves, though we did buy a bottle as a gift for a friend.
We ate a filling breakfast at our B & B, so we were not ready for lunch, but we did check out the restaurant across from the Tasting Room. The restaurant looked comfortable and cozy. The staff was friendly to us though we were just scouting out the place. Though the weather was cool, there was plenty of seating inside and out. This place must be hopping in the spring/summer.
We were only here at the Winery for an hour or so, but we had an enjoyable time,

酒庄里有十几种到十八种不同的葡萄酒可供选择，还可以选择品尝的酒款数量。我们都选了六款酒的品鉴套餐。酒庄有一个意大利酒庄的合作伙伴，所以他们的品鉴套餐里也包含这家合作伙伴的葡萄酒，这挺有意思的。接待我们的年轻女士热情友好，对酒庄的葡萄酒也十分了解。在我们品酒的大部分时间里，她都对我们照顾有加。我们品尝了几款酒，感觉都不错，但并没有特别想买回家自己享用，不过我们确实买了一瓶送给朋友。
我们在民宿享用了丰盛的早餐，所以午餐时间还很充裕，但我们还是去品酒室对面的餐厅看了看。餐厅看起来舒适温馨。虽然我们只是随便看看，但服务员也很友好。天气虽然有点凉，但餐厅内外都有很多座位。想必春夏时节这里一定非常热闹。
我们在酒庄只待了一个小时左右，但感觉很愉快。
