点评:I used to love coming to this museum as a student. It was much smaller two decades ago, and we entered from State Street, but the general cool feeling was the same. I loved the upstairs with the Pompeii mural reproduction and found it so interesting that they commissioned it to look like a special room in one of the palaces there.
I loved how they compared things like a Michigan helmet into the context of a Warrior's helmet from the past.
I found it so much fun walking around and seeing all the amazing artifacts that Michigan professors and alumni unearthed.
You now enter the museum from the back - across from the student activities building - but it's just as enjoyable. Even more so now because it's twice the size! Admission is free and you could see the whole museum in under an hour or spend a year reading all of the signs.
