点评：I had an unforgettable experience at St. Catherine’s Monastery and on Mount Sinai.
I would like to write a very warm and sincere recommendation for my guide, Shabban, who did everything possible to make me feel comfortable, safe, and well cared from the very beginning until the end of the journey.
I would like to add something especially important from a woman’s perspective. I was traveling solo, and traveling alone as a woman is not always easy. What matters most to us is having someone we can truly trust — especially when climbing Mount Sinai after midnight. At that time, you genuinely need a guide you feel safe with.
As a woman, I can say that Shabban showed me great respect at all times. I felt safe, protected, and at ease throughout the entire climb. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to any woman traveling alone — a guide like this makes all the difference.
I would also like to mention that the price is more than fair, and I kindly encourage everyone to leave a tip for the guides. Taking people up to the summit of Mount Sinai and bringing them back down safely is not a small task — it is a real challenge for them as well.
It was extremely cold that night; we felt temperatures around –3°C, yet Shabban constantly made sure that I was okay and that I had everything I needed.
I am planning to return, and climbing Mount Sinai will become a personal tradition for me. Every single time I come back, I will call Shabban as my guide.
