Domaine Des Grottes De Han的点评
点评：Visted the Wildlife Park on foot with 2 kids, ages almost 4 and almost 6 years old. The park itself is nicley kept and beautiful. Next to the animals there are two parcours during the trail which are fun to do with the kids. The first is more of balance over logs in different orientations like a squirrel while the second one is a walking bridge tree parcour.
While we saw people with a buggy or stroller the stones/paths do not really favor them and bigger wheels seem better here, but still not great.
Distance:
The distance was a bit unclear for us. On the website it says that it is 3 KM and take a shuttle the rest of the way, or walk the whole park in 6 km. What does not seem to be clearly mentioned on the site is:
- Walk from parking (about 300-400 meters) till ticket shop
- from here you can choose to start walking directly or take the tram to the "startingpoint". It goes every 20 minutes till 13:00 hours.
- the "startingpoint" is a big field with a playground and restaurant where you also start the safari tour (and probably the caves), however from here you still need to walk about 600 meters or so to the real start of the walking entrance. (on the park map the would be "Bione Station" with the Highland Cows)
- from there its 3KM till the shuttle. From there you can choose to walk the rest of the park or take the shuttle. We took the shuttle and had a lovely little driving tour with the driver/guide.
- from the suttle its again about 1KM to the tram back
- the tram back stops at the "startingpoint" mentioned earlier and from there you have to walk back to town/ your car (800 meters or so in total)
Meaning the total distance is about 6 KM instead of just 3. When walking with younger kids this is good to be aware off. From parking the car to being back at the car it took us 5 hours. Which is fine but good to know :)
Other than that a nice park to walk in and see some animals. More play areas would be nice to be able to take some more breaks.
