Cool, soothing walk with gorgeous views of nature

点评：We took the Hayabusa Shinkansen bound for Shin-Hakodate from JR Ueno at 6:38 am. We arrived at Hachinohe Station at 9.21 am. That gave us ample time to take the Tohoku bus, Oirase No 21, from Hachinohe West exit bus stop no.1 at 10 am and reached Yakeyama at 11.30 am. There are only two bus timings at Hachinohe at 10 am and 2.40 pm. All these transports were covered by our JR pass. There was one toilet break along the way. The next morning we took a taxi from our hotel, OIrase Mori No Hotel, to Ishikedo, to start our hike to Nenokuchi. It took us about four hours of leisurely walk. I loved every minute of this gorgeous trail. It is very easy to walk and the air is so fresh and cool. We saw and heard the soothing sounds of many rapids and waterfalls as we walked beside the river. We walked on 16 October which was a bit early for the full autumn colors usually at the end of October. At Nenokuchi, we took the JR bus ( 13 mins ) to stay a night at Lake Towada.
We left Lake Towada at 9 am for Shin-Aomori. The journey was unexpectedly rewarding. As the bus climbed up to Sukayu Onsen in the Hakkōda Mountains in the city of Aomori, we were amazed to see the full gorgeous autumn colours. When the bus stopped at Sukayu Onsen for the toilet break, we saw red, orange and yellow mountains all around Sukayu Onsen.
The trail beside Oirase River was such a lovely trail and I would love to walk it again in another season.
