Wood looked fantastic, cafe overwhelmed and understaffed

点评：Absolutely stunning on a sunny day, the scilla stream was a carpet of blue, plus the magnolias and Camelias. All geared up for children and Easter and I think it would be fun for little ones. It's clear that a huge amount of work has been done over the last couple of years. New planting and the wood feels much more cared for (although still feels natural). The only disappointment for us was the cafe. Thought we'd have a coffee when we got there, but queue didnt move so thought we'd try later.Very limited menu compared with a previous visit and even more limited for my gluten intolerant friend.When we tried later still a huge queue and having waited patiently to get to the front of the queue the 2 staff who were busy in the kitchen just didnt look up and totally ignored us. I presume they were prepping for lunch but a bit late to be doing that at 11.55. We eventually gave up and went elsewhere.
