Alberta Aviation Museum的点评
点评：This museum goes over Alberta aviation history and has many restored planes and helicopters. The museum has information about early Alberta bush flights and northern Canada exploration, World War II, the Cold War, the Edmonton Aviation Club, and some private collections and that were donated to the museum. The indoor hanger space had plenty to see and there is an outdoor area with some interesting aircraft including a Centennial RCAF aircraft. You have to dress for the weather here because it can get drafty inside and the outdoor area is worth a quick stop.
There is a lot to read here and there are large posters beside each museum piece. There are also exhibits along the edge of the hanger that explain the history of women's history in Alberta aviation, Alberta's space exploration, the history of the flying club, bush pilots, and many more.
They have a restoration area and research library that are only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They have flight simulators but the more advanced one has limited availability so it is worth checking in advance to see when it is open. The museum also offers special events including birthdays, day camps, field trips, special flight simulator days, cockpit access, and adult events. Plan to spend 1-2 hours here and longer if there is special interest in aviation.

Adult admission is $15 and there are discounted rates for children, seniors, students and military personnel. They have a decent gift shop and they have aviation themed strollers you can borrow for free. The facility is pretty accessible and flat.
