点评:We ate in the night market about every second evening for the month we were in Chiang Rai, and were happy and full each and every time. This was surprising since we are very picky vegetarians and don't want our food cooked in a wok with meat oil, etc. Our very first night there we were lucky to find a stall owner who totally understood us, and we continued to eat there each and every time! Within a week or so, he was willing to make us a vegetarian version of everything on his menu, and each dish was yummy. One of my favorites was stir-fried broccoli and pea pods :) One of the best things there was that we could choose which vegetables we wanted from each day's selection for each and every dish we ordered. And he would ask if we wanted tofu or egg or just veggies. A meal for two including a dish of rice (free) cost between 3-4 USD! A beer from a separate stand added another dollar.
At some point later in our trip we also bought a few gifts in the bazaar, nothing too thrilling but cheaper than most places and perfectly exotic for the folks back home.

在旅途的后期,我们还在集市上买了一些礼物,虽然没有什么特别令人兴奋的东西,但比大多数地方都便宜,而且对家乡的人们来说非常具有异国情调。
