点评：This is a big tourist attraction in this some what boring part of Georgioupoli Crete Greece because of location it’s extremely slippy and unbalancing perhaps it’s ment to be a pilgrimage of some sort as it’s an endeavour to actually make it to the chapel unscaled we met several people whom told us not to attempt it but my partner ignored them as she wanted to light candles for family members so we battled our way out and back and as there little else to visit except olive oil farm and honey farm both very disappointing and we didn’t d get the little train to lake Kouras that was scenic but also a very steep incline it was also as end of summer season and everything closing down do not go here as you will be definitely food poisoned in this town as we both were staying all inclusive 4 star accommodation Never Again Greek 4 star is the rest of Europe 1 star, stay away from any of the Mare hotel group shoddy buildings no hand rails anywhere on stairs and public toilets all down several flights of stairs not disability accessible at all no lifts anywhere no phones in rooms no street lights have to walk 150 meters up broken pavement streets to dining area in different hotel brown water in taps no vending machines no life guards and definitely no security unsavoury repetitive meals and unhygienic surroundings we caught a cat up eating on a serving dishes one evening the worker just shoooed it away and left the food there for the clientell we were both extremely sick and only another guest knocked at our room to see if we were ok we would have had no water for a few days the holiday from Hell avoid at all costs we won’t be back !!! EVER staff were lovely and extremely apologetic about food hotel and the fact only Cash was accepted at hotel ATM was at beachfront several hundred meters away
