Absolute Best Way to Tour Scotland

点评：My family and I took a 5 day tour from Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye with Paul King and had the best time. Not only is he very communicative during the planning process, he fully customized this tour based on our various interests and needs (we were a group that ranged from our mid-twenties to my mother who just turned 70). Best of all, he even included extra surprises along the way. His van was very comfortable and his lunch suggestions as well as accommodation recommendations were perfect. He's very knowledgeable about Scottish history and current events. You feel like you learn so much along the way. He breaks up the drives into easy chunks and it is a great experience to be on tour with a guide who has such passion for his homeland. My mother had researched our family tree and Paul made sure to take us to the castle and loch that were tied to the clan our family was from. She also had less mobility than some in our group and Paul was awesome with planning spots where she either could sit when she needed a break still with great views while others foraged on. I love old churches so a highlight for me was St Conan's Church. My husband likes hiking so the Fairy Pools and the Quiraing were some of his favorite spots. We loved each day and wish we'd booked one day longer. We have taken quite a few tours in quite in Europe and Asia, but this is one of the best ones we have had. Paul goes above and beyond for his guests and his service is top notch. I really appreciated all he put into making our trip so great and I would recommend him in a heartbeat. In fact, this was our second tour with Paul King and it won't be our last! He is able to do tours customized around Viking and Roman history and we're already plotting our return. (Scotland is such a vast country with all sorts of interesting finds around each bend - it's hard to see in a single trip!) Thank you, Paul!
