点评：We went on our annual golf trip September 2024
This is not a 5* Hotel, it consists of a club house, surrounded by self catering villas that you need to get a shuttle bus to.
This could be a mile away.
The club house/ hotel that you go to for breakfast was poor, small and badly maintained.
The breakfast was poor to average, the staff in the restaurant obviously hadn’t had any hospitality training what so ever… they looked like they didn’t want to be there.
The resort was empty, and I mean like a ghost town.
The pro shop shelves were empty, like it had closed down.
There are very few facilities at the hotel, and the pool and bar ( best part ) was closed on Sunday and Monday, as the chef needed a day off? Surely they have more than one set of chefs/staff to cover shifts?
The place is in the middle of nowhere, so a taxi to the nearest village was a 25min taxi.
The villas are ok, but tired, they were cleaned daily though.
The golf course could be amazing, but again, it’s like they haven’t got any ground staff to maintain it.
We didn’t see any on the course doing work at any time.
They are struggling to water the course, so it’s beyond dry.
Bare patches all over the fairways, inconsistent greens (some diseased)
Poorly cut fringes.
The golf buggies are up to standard and all come with GPS
The buggy staff were 5* and took your clubs at the end of the day, cleaned and prepared your clubs for the next round.
An absolute credit to the hotel.
If you are going on a golf holiday, this isn’t the place.
They need a huge investment to turn this place around, at over 200 euros a round, it should be top notch and competing with other courses around Spain and Portugal.
The golf companies need to stop telling people this is a 5* resort because it is far from it.
It would barely scrape a 3*
