The Chelatchie Train Robbery trip!

点评：We had so much fun! Our 6 year old granddaughter had a blast! The robbers had sidearms drawn and "meant business"! Hahaha, they were masked up like ppl who still are! And they took our jeweled plastic ;-) necklaces from us - and then rushed off the train car, leapt onto their horses, shot a few rounds off into the air as their horses reared up to make it look supercool, (BLANKS for goodness and LOGIC's sake!:-) and rode around as we peered out the open windows, watching.
Her face! Eyes like saucers. At first she refused to give her necklace up, lolll so cute! But they got them all. :-) it was a really fun outing that everyone should do with kids they love. Quaint? "Whatever, I didn't know quaint is a negative (yet another negatron -- negative). Everything So Bad huh? Nope. "Small"? Perhaps. It's a fun train ride for a Sunday afternoon with kids. If you're expecting a Rocky Mountains 2-week Amtrak trip, lolol why would you go here? "Rickety"? It's as sturdy as they come. Kept up very well, too.
It's also 100% volunteer run, nobody gets paid, they are rail enthusiasts and very cool folks who volunteer for community service as well, which I'll assume is not on some people's Things I Ever Want To Do lists.
My goodness. It's a great time, and horse rides were included. Her first one and she was in love. Enchanted by the whole fun afternoon.
We went some several years ago, and plan to go again in a week to take our youngest granddaughter, she will absolutely enjoy it, too. The people who volunteer there appear to be the salt of the earth, mannerly, polite and super friendly and accommodating. Very open and welcoming to ALL. :-) You know! Country folk.
If you want something to do that won't freak your kids out but instead cause them to just have a fun afternoon? This is that! :-)
And Happy Father's Day, guys!

而且这里100%由志愿者运营，没有人拿工资，他们都是铁路爱好者，也都是很酷的人，还会做社区服务志愿者，我猜这肯定不在某些人的‘我最想做的事情’清单上。
我的天哪。玩得真开心，还包含骑马。这是她第一次骑马，她爱上了。整个下午都沉浸在欢乐之中。
我们几年前去过那里，计划一周后再去一次，带我们最小的孙女去，她也一定会喜欢的。那里的志愿者们看起来是社会精英，彬彬有礼，超级友好热情。对所有人都非常开放和热情。:-) 你知道的！乡下人。
如果你想找点事做，既不会吓到孩子，又能让他们度过一个愉快的下午？那就来这里吧！:-)
