Basingstoke Country Hotel Spa的点评
点评：Decided to try a different hotel for a stay in Basingstoke and this one had a 4 star rating so we thought 'must be good'!
We were welcomed warmly and invited to ask questions if needed. We followed directions to our room and thats where the promise of a lovely stay died!!!
The room was drab, the bed very low and the curtains in need of an iron.
The bathroom had mould on the ceiling and tiles and the toilet seat was stained.
It took hours to go to sleep as the bed was like concrete and a standard double. The fan provided was in adequate, but opening the windows meant we could hear a pump or something cutting in and out.
Breakfast was included, but in a way I wish it hadnt been. 'Plastic' toast, and tinned fruit not my cup of tea. To be fair there were pastries and cooked items on offer along with cereals, but not very tempting.
Not one we will return to which is sad as it is in a lovely location and has s7ch promise.
