NOT child friendly towards children/teenagers

点评：School Group Visit: NO CHILD FRIENDLY STAFF!!!
The DDR museum (not the one next to Museum island as it was closed, but one further out) was terrible! The museum itself was good and the information interesting and the pupils liked it but the staff treated our pupils like they were delinquents. The floor staff were following them around the whole time, telling me they were too loud (so I went to check and they weren't it was just the voices of 60 people in a small space). Pupils came to tell me they were being told off by an older man who worked there for touching the interactive speaker information points.
Myself and a member of my staff were talking to pupils in one section about the clothing and the older male member of staff came around the corner with his hands on his hips and shaking his head. I asked him if everything was okay and he said "no it is not!" and gestured for me to follow him. He said the pupils had taken a hat off a hook and tried it on for a photo and they aren't allowed to touch. I told him that there was no sign for the pupils not to touch this item and taking a photo should not be a problem as they put it back where he just showed me. He then started to argue with me and I warned the pupils to be aware of this man.
About 10 minutes later he came upstairs with his female manager who did not speak English so he translated to again have a go about out pupils. I decided as group leader to tell them we would be leaving as their attitude towards our pupils was disgraceful. They argued with all of my staff members and I said I would not be returning and would be telling NST not to send pupils here as they are clearly not child friendly.
Honestly we were so taken aback I had to speak to the pupils outside to ensure they were very clear that we did not get chucked out but we decided to leave due to THEIR behaviour. Shocked to say the least.
