CONSTRUCTION...BE NICE TO THE STAFF!!

点评：I've been making trips to Vogel since I was little and have created many memories with family. So when my son was old enough, we started taking him. He caught his first fish in the lake and asks to go back every time we're in town. We love it here!!
They have decided to add a new visitors center in front of the lake so the park is currently under some construction. PLEASE BE NICE TO THE PARK STAFF!! The guard at the front/the visitor center staff, have absolutely no control or say in what happens during construction. And they are not required to provide visitors with a daily play by play. If you can't hear the birds while you sip your morning joe, don't call the staff and expect them to change that for you. This new center is being built in what used to be the large parking lot in front of the lake. The 2nd parking lot that sat in front of the old visitors center has also been removed. For those that are planning a visit but not actually staying on site, you will want to arrive early. The parking is limited to the 6-8 spots that sit in front of the dock. We had absolutely no problem parking. The visitors center is still open to the public. The restrooms at the visitors center and the dock are still open. We had a great time!
