点评：Here is the full review of Elijah Clark State Park.
This is site 51. It's on the water but it's hard to fish in this area due to the rocks. Best fishing is at the pier and in the coves.
The con of this site is that you have to use the fire pit for your grill. Other sites do have taller grills and even fish cleaning areas.
The bathhouse is directly across from the site and was pretty clean. However there are rules on the back of the stall doors that MUST be followed. 1. do your business. 2 flush. 3. wipe. 4. flush again. This PREVENTS sewage from backing up into the showers.
We paid the $5.00 per person to tour the replica Elijah Clark cabin. It is well worth it if you have children.
They have a few play-grounds, a mini golf course, corn hole, and other things.
We rode over to camp ground 2 and saw some major construction going on over there. It looks like they are building bigger cottages to rent. Then again we could be wrong.
Get your groceries on the way in! We drove 25-30 miles to the nearest Walmart. But the cool thing is, we went to Greenwood S.C. to shop. We ate a great meal at Carolina Tavern. (We blew a fuse in the electric jack and needed fuses therefore a Walmart was needed.)
The neighbors we had were all very quiet and friendly. No loud noises or anything.
You picnic table is concrete (watch for skinned knees and snagged clothing)
Pro: There are 2 (side by side) dump-stations to help speed up any lines that build
Another con is that our T-Mobile internet was dragging really bad. With that said we were still able to make phone calls and send texts.
We are three adults and one child traveling in a small camper. Camper is max (from tongue to bumper) 22 ft long with plenty of room.
