点评：A recent weekend with my wife. It was the off season, so only a few lodge rooms were occupied. It is nice and quite there. Rooms were clean and comfortable, mostly. The bathroom is way too big, a lot of wasted space. But the tile, shower, vanity and barn door were very nice. We got the two queen bed room, so there was no "sitting area" as the website stated. Also, there is no "full size refrigerator", just a small under the counter on. No microwave in the room. It is a community microwave in the vending/ice area. There appeared to be a smoke detector directly above the beds that had a very bright flashing light . . . very annoying . . . all night long. We ate breakfast at the restaurant one day. Only us and one other couple there. Our scrambled eggs were not fresh (seemed like it came from a box), and took a long time to get it.
Also, don't eat at the Huddle House, unless you are a local . . . hard to get noticed and our food was cold. We only ate at Waylens once, for a reason. The Southern Star has great steaks! Just overpriced for the type of restaurant it is. Also, very loud! They need to invest in sound absorbing panels. The Cedar Lane Supper Club is an OK restaurant. Great salad bar.
