点评：We spent a really nice afternoon at Saint Aubin and it honestly felt like a peaceful escape from the usual busy spots. The place has a charming old-world feel, and everything is beautifully maintained. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the lush greenery and the view of the garden and small lake – it’s the kind of place that makes you want to take your time and just enjoy the calm.
Before heading to the restaurant, we walked around a bit and visited the old colonial house. It’s full of character, and there’s a nice story behind it. The rooms are well-preserved, and there’s a quiet elegance in the way everything has been kept. You can feel the history but still enjoy it in a relaxed way.
The restaurant itself is tucked into this peaceful setting and fits perfectly with the surroundings. The food was genuinely great – fresh, nicely presented, and full of flavour. I had the chicken curry, which came with rice and local sides, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was well-seasoned and clearly made with care. There’s a good variety on the menu, and the portions are generous without being too much.
Service was also really pleasant. The waitresses were friendly, quick, and always smiling. They made us feel welcome without being overly formal. It was easy to get their attention when needed, and everything was served on time without feeling rushed.
