Frontiers of Flight Museum的点评
点评：I decided to visit the Frontiers of Flight Museum purely on a whim during my most recent stay in Dallas. I am extremely grateful that I did.
The museum is packed with aerospace exhibits, ranging from the early days of flight to all the way to the present day. There are exhibits on early wood-frame planes like the Wright Flyer, experimental military aircraft like the V-173, and modern aircraft like the F-18. There are also lots of exhibits on space and space exploration, including a full-scale model of SpaceShip One.
The museum also has some unique items in its collection, including the only SR-71 flight simulator to ever be built.
I was given a personal tour of the entire museum by volunteer Tom Torres. He spent almost five hours with me answering all of my questions and giving me an overview of everything that I was interested in. His passion for aerospace was on full display the whole time.
Whether you are an aerospace enthusiast or just someone with a passing interest, there is something for everyone at this museum.
If you are ever in the DFW area, the Frontiers of Flight Museum is a must-visit.
