点评：We visited Cleveland as part of our multi-day trip, and the Cleveland Public Library was our second stop after touring the nearby beautiful Federal Reserve Building, which closes early. The library turned out to be even more magnificent than we expected. It consists of two interconnected buildings—one historic and one modern—beautifully preserved and thoughtfully designed. Walking through the library truly felt like exploring a museum, with grand architecture, artwork, and exhibits throughout.
One of the highlights was the massive collection of Chinese books, magazines, and materials—the largest we have ever seen in a U.S. public library.
We were also fortunate to meet Victoria and Deman from the International Languages Department. They were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and generous with their time. They shared fascinating historical facts about the library, pointed out notable Cleveland landmarks, and even offered helpful travel tips for places that weren’t originally on our itinerary.
Overall, we had a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. The Cleveland Public Library is a remarkable destination—beautiful, educational, and absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
