点评:We were a little apprehensive about doing the underground water tunnel tour given that we heard it can feel a little claustrophobic however we are very happy we did. Our tour guide was Reut and she explained everything in detail, she kept us in the shade as much as possible and gave detailed instructions about the tunnels and the dry route for those who preferred that option. IR David was easily accessible by bus from central Jerusalem and bus 1 dropped us off about 100 meters from the information center.
The best tip I can give is to bring a flashlight or buy one for 6 shekels at the ticket office. It is money well spent otherwise you won’t be able to see anything in the tunnels which are pitch black. I am 5’7” and needed to crouch in a few places. Also closed water shoes are a must because there are a few holes in the terrain and regular flip flops aren’t sturdy enough.
For those who are claustrophobic, I would recommend doing the dry route.
