点评：I have been to Puerto Rico multiple times in the past and have used services of other dive shops before. I am an avid diver and my 15 year old son is certified and has been diving for 3 years. For our trip to PR we planned to have my son get his Advance Diver certification and my 11 year old daughter get her Open Water scuba certification. They passed their online exams prior to our trip. We arranged the details of the dives, location, and dates with Angela over the phone and emails a month prior to our arrival. She was very prompt with communications.
Day one, my daughter had her pool training at a state-of-the-art Olympic size pool. It was her first time breathing through a regulator. Angela was very attentive and motherly with her. She took her time with the training and didn't skip any steps.
Day 2, Caritino worked with my son and Angela stayed with my daughter in their 2 shore dives. They both made my kids feel very safe and were very patient. I was nervously going back and forth between the two to make sure they are fine, specially my daughter. After the dives, they couldn't wait to get back to water again. They made the 2nd dive extra fun by bringing out scooters and have them zoom around fast, piggybacking with their dive masters.
Day 3, two more shore dives at two different locations . My daughter was very confident at this point and with help from another dive master, Angel, since Angela had to go to her day job. All the steps for certifications were covered. We spent additional time between the two dives for my son to work on navigation and search and recovery skills on land. After the two dives my daughter was certified.
Day 3, night dive. This was the last step for my son. Caritino was leading a larger group of divers for a night dive but stayed very attentive with my son through the dive. The night dive was the last step for my son to become and advance diver.
All the sites that they picked for shore dives had lots of marine life and were pleasant sites. I liked that my daughter didn't have to go through anxiety of boat dive for her certification and first dives.
Day 4, we took a day off from diving and planned a two tank dive at the southern part of the island, The Black Wall the next day. It was a long drive from north to south back and forth that I wouldn't probably do again since there are plenty of good sites in the north. Both kids handled the boat ride and the deeper dive well. Caritino came along and stayed with my daughter throughout both dives.
Overall, it was great to work with Caritino, Angela, and Angel. I trusted them with my kids and they felt safe. Neptune Divers, is hands down one of the best dive shops that I worked with. Whether you want to get certified or just plan some fun dives, I highly recommend them. You cannot find a better dive crew in Puerto Rico than Neptune Divers.
