点评:The Chattanooga Visitor's Center was very nice and bent over backwards to be helpful. We are a 70 year old couple that are active and don't mind walking a few blocks. We came to Chattanooga for a concert at "Soldiers and Sailers" Walker Theater. Our problem was with the entire City of Chattanooga, parking is terrible, complicated, and absurdly expensive. The Chattanooga Parking Authority are vultures, each establishment, restaurant, bar, hotel requires you to pay for parking in a lot or on the side of the street. The parking authority wants you to download an app to your phone to be able to pay for parking. Their instructions are complicated and require too much effort for a short term guest. We went for a concert and were planning to get a hotel afterwards. After receiving a ticket at 5:01 pm in front of Songbird Guitar Museum before the concert, we decided to go to the concert, skip the hotel, and drive back home after the concert. We drove around after receiving the ticket before the concert and were not that impressed, Chattanooga looked dirty and rundown. We will not be coming back to Chattanooga, there are plenty of more welcoming, better, more attractive, more interesting, more hospitable places to visit.
