RELAXING WEEKEND AT RICKWOOD CAVERNS STATE PARK
Rickwood Caverns State Park的点评
点评：We really enjoyed our stay at Rickwood Caverns State Park. Our campsite was on the smaller side but very nice and well maintained. Each site has a picnic table and an in-ground fire pit, which made evenings especially relaxing. Behind the campsite area is a small covered bridge over a creek bed—such a peaceful and picturesque spot.
We visited during the first weekend in May and were fortunate to have beautiful weather. The park was quiet and serene, and it was wonderful waking up to the sound of birds chirping.
We also toured the caverns, and our guide, David, was outstanding. He did an excellent job sharing the history of the property and the story of the cave’s discovery. David was incredibly knowledgeable, patient with the kids, and answered questions with genuine enthusiasm. He also made sure everyone felt safe while still having a great time.
Overall, Rickwood Caverns State Park is a lovely place to camp and explore. We would absolutely recommend it and look forward to returning.
