Not difficult but not easy

点评：Absolutely breathtaking! A must do when in Oahu and if you are closer to the west side of the island. There are jungle roosters all over the visiting center, which is something to behold.
As far as the hike I concerned, it is not overly difficult, as long as you do not have any physical restrictions. My family and I went and there were no problems, except some mosquitos. However, my 71 year old mother in law, was also there and had a little bit of difficulty. She completed the hike, thanks in part to a little girl who gave her a Bamboo walking stick(to which she was referred to as an Angel the rest of the hike).
We were not sure why to expect and watched several YouTube videos, but they never made it seem challenging.
If you are looking for something not overly challenging and immensely beautiful, this is a great hike.
Bring a walking stick if you have any issues with large-steps or uneven surfaces. Otherwise enjoy the beauty
