Ximenez-Fatio House Museum的点评
点评：My sister and I went in March. Somehow we ended up with a private tour! We have visited a lot of historical homes (my dad is a home designer and that was always a part of our family vacations), but this one really stood out. The history is very interesting. But they also have the whole place open and staged - this is so rare. Typically in historical homes, floors and rooms are blocked off - and I'm always itching to see what is back there. But that's not the case at Ximenez-Fatio House! I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything.
We had Ryan as our tour guide and he was great. He has been working there for about 7 years I think. And he helps to take care of the property and the gardens. You can tell he loves the place and takes pride and ownership of it. It's not just a job - he is super passionate. Not only did he share the history of the house, but additional history of St. Augustine and Florida during that time.
