The Spa at Pennyhill Park的点评
点评：Could have been wonderful….. unbelievably there is only one disabled parking space at this hotel! When you mention this after you’ve had to park in the main car park and walk to the spa, you’re told they would have sent a buggy to get you….. Not acceptable!
On the plus side - the spa reception team were wonderful, they made me really feel welcome and a valued guest. Even though there was a queue, they took the time to explain and show me everything I needed for my spa day. There were lifts, spotless changing rooms - with lockers that worked - and an absolute abundance of towels.
The facial was really great and very relaxing, the spa was the best equipped I’d ever been to with so many different heat rooms and pools to sample.
The food was quite expensive but good and the choice of drinks was also good.
The real downside was that there were noisy children in the pool all day, some not being watched by adults; we had to move away from the pool as the noise was so awful. Then while we were eating lunch, a couple of unaccompanied children in the pool were constantly throwing balls into the dining area - SO annoying. When you spend so much money on a special spa day, you don’t expect it to be ruined by unruly children. I realise there isn’t an adults only area - other than in the spa itself - but it would be great to have the five star experience without the noisy children!
