Kings Acre Golf Course的点评
点评：Our recent society visit was a dreadful experience.
The course wasn't as good as when I had last played it about 8 years ago. It was tired looking, with both greens and tees in poor condition. Pace of play was glacial. The clubhouse was understaffed and poorly managed.
Although the course seemed clear when we first teed off, we soon caught up with another society who were evidently in absolutely no hurry, and seemed unfamiliar with the course and etiquette of the game. This isn't entirely the fault of the course, but pace of play should be made clear to visiting groups, and there was no mention made to us. They were just after the money!
Our 1st group walked off after 9, beaten by the pace of play. They went into the clubhouse, managed to get fed, arranged to get picked up, and left. They were the lucky ones.
Once the rest of us finished the 5 hour slog we were told by the bar staff that the kitchen weren't ready for us, because they were dealing with the society in front!
We were told that it would be almost an hour before we could be seated, by which time our bus would have left to make its next booking. The bar staff and pro listened to our problem, and shrugged. The bar staff stated that it had been agreed that we wouldn't be seated for food until long after we had completed our epic round. Who this was agreed with was never explained. It certainly wasn't any of us.
So we left, unfed, and without a refund because nobody had the authority to issue one, and they would not provide contact details for anyone who could!
As we were leaving, the chef appeared and announced that he was ready for us, and had been for half an hour! If only he had told the bar staff!
We won't be back. There are many far better golf courses in the area which provide much better value and are adequately staffed and properly managed.

所以我们离开了，没吃饱，也没退款，因为没有人有权限退款，他们也不会提供任何有权限退款的人的联系方式！
我们正要离开时，厨师出现了，宣布他已经准备好迎接我们了，而且已经等了半个小时了！要是他早点告诉酒吧工作人员就好了！
我们不会再来了。这附近有很多更好的高尔夫球场，性价比更高，人员配备充足，管理得当。
