Fun at the US Open during Fan Week

So. Driving there, just to get to Meridian Road was a nightmare. Be warned - one lane to turn and the middle lane driver going right up to the lights to turn at the same time. Very frustrating and a long wait. Not for the impatient.
Having said that, once we parked (we parked right away), it was about 12 minute walk to the Champions entrance.
Fan week is free entry, so very easy to walk in.
Lots of sponsors-vendors. Easy to participate in activities and to watch practices.
We watched many famous players practice.
The bathrooms are readily available, accessible and clean.
I was wary to visit but for the driving portion, the visit was very pleasant.
Suggestions:
- Go early, avoid the crowd
- Take public transportation
- bring a water bottle, refill stations available
- check the website for activities and schedules
