点评：We enjoyed our morning at this park featuring a wide variety of Australian animals and birds. As we got there right as it opened at 9, we were able to book 1 of the 40 slots for holding a koala (just my wife) as they sell out right away. $A35 pp-buy in gift shop just as you enter).
Not to worry though, there are several times a day when you can get a photo standing next to a koala and this is included in the admission price. The first session was 9-9:30 so we ticked that off while it wasn’t busy. At 10 we had one of the days highlights, the farm show-not to be missed. At 11 we got our pictures with a wombat (looks like a big pillow pet-$10 extra per person-buy in gift shop as you enter)
In between we saw many interesting birds, marsupials and even a few crocs. The park is nice and shady and not overly big so walking around is easy. Oddly, unlike places like this in the states, there really isn’t much in the way of food and drink-just a few vending machines.
It’s a bit of a hike to get there and no easy mass transit route so we Uber’s each way which took 20-30 minutes fronCBD
