点评：A group of friends visited for Christmas Lunch and a game of Ten Pin Bowling. The electronic scoreboard failed after 8 of the intended 10 rounds on one lane then on another. The young man (barman) who tried to help knew nothing about the system and after phoning for assistance told us to restart from the beginning. After a few ends of the new game we were told our food was ready. So we abandoned the bowling.
Unbelievably 21 of us were squashed into two tables, the two tables were adjacent to an area where painters were working on a new installation of dart boards. Admittedly the area was barriered off but the barriers were filthy. The menu lacked any festive feel with burgers or steak pie no turkey with trimmings for us and the sticky toffee pudding had been taken off the menu disappointing many.
I believe we were offered a free drink with our meal, my drink eventually arrived after i had finished my meal.
After the meal we were allowed to have another game of 10 pin bowling but with little hope of completing 10 ends.
