Beautiful beach, no shade, lots of construction

点评：We first visited this area in 2017 and loved it. The beach is still beautiful, the food healthy and delicious, and having a swim at sunset an amazing experience, however the town itself has gotten quite expensive and the noise of construction is pervasive.
This year we stayed in a house called Ola Prana in Guiones Beach Club and the sound of multiple construction projects in the area was so loud that it drowned out the sounds of wildlife that made this town so special. While in the past a booking agent would warn you of construction in the area and offer you a discount, Surfing Nosara did not let us know before booking.
We also had water issues for 4 out of the 7 days in the house, having little to no water for laundry, dishes or showers. We were not reimbursement or offered any discount of any kind for the multiple issues we faced, despite the very steep rental fees we paid.
While we love Costa Rica and there is still much to appreciate in Guiones Beach and Nosara, some of what made this place special and affordable is seizing to exist.
The peaceful community surrounded by the lovely sounds of nature are being taken over by loud intrusive banging and drilling which is not my idea of a good vacation.
