点评:We visited the zoo without knowing much about it, but as a family of 3 (2 adults and one 2 year old) and paying ~£45 it felt very expensive for what was there and the limited time needed to get around although you can stay all day.
Another disappointment was the fact that they have a cafe onsite, but rather than allowing you to eat your own food on the picnic benches (I understand not eating as you walk around) they make you go outside to the car park if you brought a picnic, even if you buy food for adults and take food for children, you all have to eat in the picnic area attached to the playground. It was just really inconvenient, and given we'd paid so much to get in, it felt a bit ridiculous.
Enclosures are tailored to animal needs, so we'll plant and animals seem happy. Huge selection of birds, lemurs, and some larger mammals, and the petting meet and greet of a tortoise and snail was a nice touch.
I don't think I'd be in a rush to go back given the price, but if you're local and get an annual membership, it's probably worth it.
