点评：Park at the visitor’s center and pay the park fee at the visitor’s center. If you have the America the Beautiful Pass, you can use it here. The volunteers in the visitor’s center are very helpful and informative. Thank you to Gladys for answering all our questions and providing advice on the surrounding area. To see Thor’s Well and Spouting Horn, take the trail right outside the visitor’s center. It is clearly marked and will lead you under the highway toward the coast. The trail dead ends and you can go to the right to see the Devil’s Churn, or to the left toward Thor’s Well and Spouting Horn. We had seen the Devil’s Churn the day before by parking in the adjacent lot on Highway 101, so we only went to the left, but many did both. The power of the waves crashing on the rocks was incredible, It is better to see this at high tide as that is when the Spouting Horn lets loose and the water flows through Thor’s Well. The volunteers can tell you when the high tide will occur so you can time your visit. We visited the center after seeing Devil’s Churn, found out the time of high tide, and came back the next day at high tide.
