点评:Absolutely Outrageous Prices – Avoid!
I’ve been to my fair share of wineries, but Del Graff takes the crown for the most shameless rip-off I’ve ever encountered. £25 for one glass of Cabernet Sauvignon? I half expected the winemaker himself to personally pour it, sing me a lullaby, and reveal the secrets of the universe for that price. Spoiler: he didn’t.
The wine was fine, nothing special, certainly not worth the absurd price tag. But what really leaves a sour taste in my mouth (far worse than their overpriced Cab) is the sheer audacity of this pricing.
This isn’t London’s most exclusive wine bar; it’s a winery, where you’d think they could at least offer a reasonable pour without charging a premium fit for a small bottle of fine Bordeaux.
If you enjoy getting fleeced with a smug smile, by all means, go ahead. But if you have even a shred of financial self-respect, I’d recommend taking your money elsewhere.
We stupidly put our trust in our waiter to try a wine he gave us (of course) the most expensive wine without even showing us a menu - completely ripped us off.
1/5 – only because I can’t give zero.
